Therapy for Depression

Trying to live a good life while struggling with persistent depression and sadness is extremely challenging. While life inherently has its ups & downs, if you feel stuck in a place of low motivation and satisfaction, therapy can help. Depression often keeps us isolated and hopeless, and without the energy or hope to make changes. And we often try to cover up our depression out of shame, or talk ourselves out of it with various self-help techniques. Having a safe place to talk can lead to an understanding of your challenges, what may be causing them, and what can help.

In our attempts to fit in and win approval, we may have coped by suppressing our real selves and hiding our vulnerabilities. Therapy can help you learn to channel your depression into energy that is used to better your life and explore your hopes and dreams.

I don’t believe people are looking for the meaning of life as much as they are looking for the experience of being alive.
